Summary: Circular tour of 3 days and 2 nights, departing from Marrakech and ending in the same city. Along the way, we visit places of great historical and natural interest, such as Ait Ben Haddou and the Todra Gorges. And as a great goal, the desert of Merzouga and its Erg Chebbi dunes.

Meeting point Meeting at 7:30 am at Café de France, Jemaa el Fna Square (You must arrive in advance as it is a group tour and you cannot wait for each other. Outside the Medina: Pick-up available at an additional cost of 10 to 40 euros, depending on distance.

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Departure from our meeting point in Marrakech and the start of the road trip through the High Atlas Mountains. We will cross this mountain range via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 meters above sea level) and descend to Ait Ben Haddou. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site and continue to Ouarzazate.

Following that, we will embark on a journey through the Dades Valley, also known by two other evocative names: the Valley of Roses and the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, due to the numerous rose gardens and Berber fortresses. We will stop for the night at a hotel in one of the villages in the valley.

• Departure from Marrakech by road
• High Atlas (Tizi n’Tichka pass)

• Ouarzazate

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi

Continuing our journey, we will proceed through the Dades Valley to the Todra Gorges, a spectacular natural enclave known for its narrow and steep rocky canyon. We will then continue to Erfoud, a gateway to the desert famous for its dinosaur fossils.

A little later, in Merzouga, we will mount camels to explore the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi and reach our accommodation: a desert camp of Berber tents in the heart of the desert. Dinner and overnight stay in this unique setting.

• Merzouga: Camel excursion through the Erg Chebbi dunes
• Dinner and overnight stay at a desert camp in Erg Chebbi

Day 3: Erg Chebbi – Marrakech

On this third day, we will rise early to witness the magical sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Afterward, we will return to Merzouga and begin our journey back to Marrakech. It’s a long drive, but we will make the necessary stops to rest, have meals, and make the journey more enjoyable. We will arrive in Marrakech late in the day, concluding at the designated location.

• Sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes
• Breakfast at the desert camp
• Return to Merzouga, crossing the Erg Chebbi dunes
• Resumption of the road trip
• Arrival in Marrakech late in the day
